As of yesterday, my summer if officially over. In just over four months I will be walking across the stage at the University of Florida and will no longer be a student. In the meantime though, I will be taking you through my journey of becoming employed and my last semester as a college student at Disney World. First though, I want to take this opportunity to go over my summer.
My semester ended in April, basically meaning my summer started in May (because let’s be honest, there’s always a million things to do at the end of the semester and when school is over). The best way I can describe May is as a blur.
I immediately started interning with fuel4, an event production company in my home town, twice a week. In addition to that I once again took up my job as manager at the local ice cream shop.
Some highlights of May include going with my parents to see the Move! Beyond tour, my brother high school graduation and and not one, but two visits to Disney World.

My baby brother graduated high school!
Magic Kingdom with my family.
EPCOT with friends.
And then of course, the end of the month marked the beginning of my time blogging. I was so nervous and excited for my first post and have grown to truly love blogging.
The general theme of June for me was work. It was basically one big countdown to vacation. I was working 40-60 hours a week. While that was most definitely a lot, I also had the opportunity to do some pretty neat thing like stand on the floor on Amalie Arena.

Towards the end of the month we had to put our dog, Spice, down.
A few of the photos I took for the ice cream shop’s Instagram page @oldfarmerscreamery.
At the end of the summer I went to Disney with Simon as one final hoorah for the summer.
And now here I am at the end of the summer, ready to start the next part of my life. It seems like every time I blink my eyes more time as passed.
