A week ago was my boyfriend, Simon’s, 21st birthday. This past week has been a whirlwind of excitement and celebration and I’m excited to share it!
The celebration started Monday night. We went out to Social, a bar in midtown Gainesville for Simon’s midnight drink. We hung out by the bar, had a few drinks, and rung in his birthday with a midnight drink.
Tuesday (The Big Day!)
The next morning we had a leisurely start to the day and eventually headed to Outback for Simon’s birthday lunch. I’ve been obsessed with their Patriotic Punch and have been more times than I care to admit these past two weeks haha!
That afternoon we stopped by Total Wine so Simon could buy his first bottle of alcohol, had birthday donuts from Dunkin’ Donuts and picked up his birthday cake.
For dinner that night we went out to the newly opened Bahama Breeze and celebrated with Happy Hour Margaritas and good friends!
After dinner, we relaxed and un-winded from the days activity and went out for late-night frozen yogurt.
The celebration doesn’t stop there though. On Sunday we met up in Tampa. The original plan was to go to Adventure Island, but because of the horrible weather we came up with a plan B.
We instead decided to start out our day at The Mini Donut Factory.
After donuts, we headed to the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) and spent the afternoon exploring.
We unknowingly headed to The Cheesecake Factory on National Cheesecake Day (aka 50% off cheesecake day) and after 75 minutes of hanging out at the bar we were seated and able to enjoy a yummy meal.
Finally, we ended the evening at the Seminole Hard Rock Resort and Casino. The guys gambled while the girls watched, but we all managed to have the BEST time.
Overall it was an amazing birthday and if it weren’t so tiring I would definitely say we should celebrate his birthday every week 😉
